It is one of the public universities in the city of Sivas in Turkey. The university was established on February 9, 1972 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic. The university’s motto is: “I love the Republic.” It contains 16 colleges, 5 secondary schools, and 13 high schools. Professional, 4 institutes and about 12 research centers.
