Koç University was established in 1993 in Istanbul as a private, non-profit university by the world-famous Vehbi Koç Foundation. The campus has 60 buildings including academic, administrative and laboratory buildings, and 4 different public libraries for students containing 609,174 publications and 125 databases. It is considered one of the top 10 universities in Turkey and one of the top 30 universities in Asia, in addition to other local and international rankings that the university has obtained for several years.
There are also student housing, social facilities, a health center, and sports buildings, in addition to laboratories and laboratories equipped at the highest level.
